Dark Chocolate and Raw Cashews

I like chocolate. I stopped eating it when I started following a ketogenic diet. But I missed it. I’ve discovered a delicious ketogenic chocolate snack I can have any time I want a quick boost:

  • 4 squares (40g) of Lindt 90% Dark Chocolate
  • 1/3 cup of raw cashews

It’s so delicious! Let’s check out the macros:

  • Fat: 42g (75%)
  • Carbs: 20g (15%)
  • Protein: 12g (10%)

Total calories: 490.

I like breaking my fast with this snack. It’s a bit of a reward. It’s loaded with micronutrients, and the macro ratios are pretty close to ideal, although the cashews push the carb count up.
